Description
Opposite Lock On-Loop Bull Bar for Mazda BT50 2025 Newcastle
If you drive a 2025 Mazda BT50 in Newcastle or the Hunter Region and you want front protection that actually fits your ute properly, this is it.
The Opposite Lock On-Loop Bull Bar is made specifically for the 2025 BT-50. It works around your factory sensors, keeps your tech pack features running and gives you a serious recovery setup from day one. We supply and fit this bar at our Cardiff 4×4 workshop and we have the stock on hand right now.
What Makes This Bullbar Worth Fitting on Mazda BT50?
The 2025 Mazda BT50 is a tech-heavy ute. It has active safety systems, ADAS sensors, a factory fog light setup, and a suite of driver assistance features built into the front bumper area. Most generic bull bars on the market are not designed around any of that.
Opposite Lock engineers it to work around everything the 2025 BT50 came with from the factory. Your tech pack features stay active after fitment. Your OEM fog lights stay in place. Your indicators get replaced with recessed LEDs that sit flush and clean. Nothing is bypassed or removed to make the bar fit.
That kind of vehicle-specific fitment is worth paying attention to, especially with a newer ute where the front end does a lot of work electronically.
Recovery Ready from Day One
This Mazda BT50 2025 bull bar comes with integrated 8 tonne rated recovery points. They are built into the bar, tested to that rating, and ready to use without buying separate recovery point kits or having anything welded on.
The winch mount sits low on the front of the bar. A low winch position keeps your approach angle cleaner on steep tracks and gives you a solid, stable platform for most popular winch brands. If you want to run a winch, the mount is already there. Whether you are a tradesman who parks off-road regularly, a touring driver, or someone who hits the tracks on weekends, having rated recovery points already sorted is one less thing to think about later.
Front and Underbody Protection in One Package
The bar includes a four piece front underbody protection plate. This covers the engine and drivetrain components under the front of your BT50 that would otherwise take direct hits from rocks, debris and rough terrain.
On a dirt road, a graded station track, or a creek crossing, rocks kick up at speed and hit the underside of your engine bay hard. The underbody plates take those hits instead of your sump or gearbox housing.
The bar also has a central split air dam built in. It keeps airflow moving to your cooling system and adds strength to the front face of the bar in a frontal impact. It is a practical design feature, not just a cosmetic one.
Lights and Communication Mounts Included
Working utes and touring rigs need proper communication setups. This bar has three CB aerial mounting points built in. Two sit on the passenger side and one on the driver’s side. You can run your full UHF setup without drilling through factory panels or rigging up aftermarket mounts that look out of place.
Standard driving light mounts come fitted as part of the bar. They work with our full range of driving lights at Opposite Lock Cardiff. If you want to add a set of spots or a light bar after the bull bar goes on, the mounts are already in place.
How This Bull Bar is Finished?
A bull bar on a working ute takes a beating. Chips, scratches, salt air, red dust, creek water. If the finish is not right, rust gets in and the bar starts to fail from the inside.
Opposite Lock uses a two step process. The bar goes through e-coating first. This bonds a rust-inhibiting layer directly to the steel before anything else goes on top. Powder coating is then applied over that. The result is a finish that holds up in Australian conditions, coastal or inland.
This is not a bar you will be repainting in two years. The finish is built to last the same way the rest of the bar is.
ADR Compliant and Airbag Tested
All Opposite Lock bull bars go through airbag compatibility testing in Australia. This is important. In a frontal impact, your Mazda BT50 airbags need to trigger correctly regardless of what is on the front of the vehicle. This bar is tested to make sure that happens.
The bar is also fully ADR compliant. Australian Design Rules compliance matters for your vehicle registration and your insurance. You do not want a bull bar that creates a problem with either of those. The bar comes with a 2 years manufacturer warranty.
