Standard or Low Cut Top on Your BT-50
Both fit the same vehicle and share the same guard cut. Only the ram height differs. Standard runs the ram at full height for maximum clearance above the water line. Low cut drops it lower for a garage door, a carport or a height-restricted site gate. You trade a little intake height for that clearance.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where can I buy a Mazda BT-50 Tanami stainless steel snorkel in Newcastle?
Opposite Lock Cardiff on Munibung Road in Cardiff is a licensed and authorised Mondexpl dealer and installer in Newcastle. We stock and fit the Tanami stainless steel snorkel for the Mazda BT-50 from 09/2020. Call us on (02) 4058 1911 to check stock. We open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm.
Does a Tanami stainless steel snorkel fit a Mazda BT-50 built before 09/2020?
No. The earlier BT-50 ran the Ford Ranger platform rather than the Isuzu D-Max platform, so it takes a different snorkel. Check your compliance plate for the build date.
What is the difference between the standard and low cut top on a BT-50 snorkel?
Both fit the same vehicle and share the same mid entry guard cut. Standard runs the air ram at full height for maximum water clearance. Low cut drops the ram lower to clear a garage door, a carport or a height-restricted site gate, and you trade a little intake height for that.
What finishes does the Mazda BT-50 Mondexpl Tanami stainless steel snorkel come in?
Three. Brushed 316 stainless carries the SSB prefix and leaves the metal exposed. Satin black powdercoat carries SSP and blends with black bar work. Textured black powdercoat carries SSPTB and matches the textured finishes on many bull bars and flares.
