Nissan changed the D40 in 2010, so a 2009 and a 2010 D40 take different snorkels. Check your compliance plate for the build date. The 04/05 to 2009 D40 shares its part numbers with the R51 Pathfinder because Nissan built the Pathfinder on the D40 platform. The two share the same guard profile and airbox position, so Mondexpl builds one part for both.

NP300 Navara Snorkel Range
Every NP300 configuration suits wide body only, and every one requires a washer bottle replacement supplied with the kit. You choose between a universal washer bottle or the premium bottle Mondexpl manufactures in house. Find your build date first, then your top height.

Patrol and Navara Twin Snorkel Setups
The GU Patrol takes a right-hand-side dummy under the SSBN04 series. The NP300 from 12/20 takes a left-hand-side dummy under the SSBN08LC series. A dummy mounts opposite your working snorkel for a matched twin look. It carries no air to the engine, so it only makes sense alongside a working snorkel rather than instead of one. The factory washer bottle sits where the snorkel pipe needs to run on the NP300, so every configuration includes a replacement bottle. You choose between a universal bottle or the premium bottle Mondexpl manufactures in house. Nothing extra needs ordering and we fit the replacement during the install.
Does the GQ Patrol snorkel fit the 2.8L engine?
No. Mondexpl builds the GQ Patrol snorkel for every engine except the 2.8L. If your GQ runs the 2.8L, call us on (02) 4058 1911 and we will check directly with Mondexpl whether anything suits before you book.
Does a 2009 D40 Navara take the same snorkel as a 2010 D40?
No. Nissan changed the D40 in 2010, so the two take different part numbers. The 04/2005 to 2009 D40 takes the SSBN05 series and the 2010 D40 takes the SSBN06 series.
