The Safari snorkel system was developed to support the significant airflow requirements of the JL and JT engine range. By raising the intake point to roof level, the system draws in cooler, cleaner air while reducing exposure to dust, mud and water encountered during off road use.
The Safari air ram performs two critical functions:
